Music for one apartment and six drummers

I confess I've been lurking instead of posting recently. Bad the ocrow! You may have noticed some spam comments appeared here recently. It's all been tidied up now, I think. To stop more of this sort of thing happening, new user accounts now have to be approved by the admin (me).

I wish I had more time to post photos and write long articles. In the mean time here's a video that I can't stop watching. It was presented at Cannes 2001, directed by swedes Ola Simonsson and Johannes Stjärne Nilsson. Music for one apartment and six drummers.

Final departure

This evening I left the Lawton Ave house for the last time. I've come home to that house almost every day for more than a decade, and now it's empty again for the first time since I moved in. Eleven years with eight house mates, all told.

Yard Sale Karma

I sold a bunch of bulky items from the basement on my steps yesterday. I feel very virtuous about this, for having passed on great gear at ludicrously low prices; but not entirely philanthropic, since I did make some cash too. In a very Burning Man sort of way, it was just the sort of yard sale that I would want to attend. Electronics, blacklights, a unicycle, a dome covering, a sleeping bag. The sort of event from which spouses had to be dragged.

All change for the fast lane

It's all change all the time, here at inconsistency central. My nice calm, predictable life is suddenly full of radical ... radicalness. The latest shake up is that since I told the landlord I'm moving out, he has decided to sell the house. In what shape does this leave my house mate? She would like to stay, but he wants her to go, so he can rennovate the kitchen and put the place on the market.

Welcome to Waymoot

Hullo everyone. This is Waymoot, a place for our litte group of travellers to stay connected.

Waymoot is an old name for the town of Waymeet, east of Michel Delving in the West Farthing of the Shire. Sitting as it does at the crossing of four small roads, it is an excellent place to break one's journey, and stop for a quick chat.
