Hullo everyone. This is Waymoot, a place for our litte group of travellers to stay connected.

Waymoot is an old name for the town of Waymeet, east of Michel Delving in the West Farthing of the Shire. Sitting as it does at the crossing of four small roads, it is an excellent place to break one's journey, and stop for a quick chat.

Our site is now set up as a blog, so the front page content will represent the latest posts at any given time. The site uses the Drupal community site software, which is has a lot of features. Most of these are turned off at the moment. That should make it very quick to get started. I expect we'll want to activate some of the other features later as we have more information to organize. We can add other pages to the site and it can evolve in other less bloggish directions, as the desire arises. I'm learning the software as I go, but it seemed worthwhile to get something basic up and runnning now, then we can enhance it as we go.
